Henkel, a global provider of adhesives, sealants and functional coatings, and leading manufacturer of well-known brands announced today a $30 million investment in its North American manufacturing facility in Brandon, SD. This investment will fund a series of improvements and expansions at the site to support its production of thermal interface materials used in the manufacture of high-performance electronics.
“We are delighted to be investing in the expansion of our production capabilities at our Brandon facility,” said Bruce Lear, Director of Operations at Henkel’s Brandon facility. “The investment reinforces Henkel’s commitment to the area, as well as the strategic importance of this facility to Henkel. We’re proud of our work and our team in Brandon and look forward to continuing to grow.”
The company’s facility in Brandon was built in 2009 and includes production lines and a warehouse on approximately 36,000 sq ft. Henkel acquired this facility through its acquisition of The Bergquist Company in 2014. Engineering plans are in progress and construction is expected to begin mid-2022.
