What you´ll do

  • The Business Development Manager proactively drives acquisition of new business by establishing and nurturing strong beneficial relationships with key leaders of the NAMX Accounts for the Automotive Supplier Industry.
  • Leveraging local and international interfaces to the plants, the key will be to open up new business potential across the Top 50 North American suppliers and accelerate closure of projects to expand market share rapidly.
  • The Business Development Manager resorts to the entire value chain of Surface Treatment/Cleaners and Lubricants processes, drives new innovations as she/he funnels the needs across different key players, while predominantly focusing on commercial relationships with Industry Leaders.
  • Develop and implement programs & activities that drive the associated Surface Treatment / Cleaners & Lubricants Applications by systematically expanding the customer base, application range and market share.
  • Drive Sustainability-related Initiatives towards reducing Co2 footprint, through rolling out new-generation technologies offering balance of “Performance. Process Efficiency. Sustainability.”
  • Align & synchronize with Sales Directors, Sales Engineer, Application Engineers and Key Account Managers to prioritize and execute customer roadmaps and regularly visit customers to drive Organic Sales Growth year over year.
  • Determine an Innovation Profile for the Top Auto Suppliers’ needs in order to accelerate Innovation for the Surface Treatment, Cleaners & Lubricants market.
  • Support pricing and quotations aligned with Market Segment Strategy and International Account set/up.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or International Business.
  • Minimal working experience of approx. 7 years with ideally exposure to Automotive Industry or other heavy-duty Industry
  • Expected travel in this role will be 50% with both domestic and international travel to be expected.
  • This is a remote position, with the expectation that most of your time will be spent in Michigan or in the Southeast part of the U.S. 
  • Self-starter, highly driven by energy and passion to navigate and take on challenges and exploit chances.
  • Highly independent, confident and resilient in establishing, nurturing and driving business relationships and partnerships
  • Laser-focused on carving out business potential and accelerate closing of opportunities through milestone and creating a compelling team.

The salary for this role is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
