What you´ll do
- This role is responsible for managing the Walmart account on a national level, driving business growth, improving profitability, and expanding market share within their portfolio.
- Responsible for growing and developing Henkel Consumer Brands Business.
- The responsibility focuses on growing sales, improving profit, optimizing operations & activating marketing initiatives for our strong brands within Canada.
- Work with Walmart to develop account specific plans that maximize sales, profit, merchandising, distribution, market share and support trade promotion management, forecasting, promotions and trade settlements.
- Develop growth and investment strategy focused on assortment, innovation, content, and support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within account to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to proactively adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Support implementation of key Henkel NA initiatives, while also prioritizing key customer initiatives.
- Regularly report on account performance, sales forecasts, and key metrics to senior management. Use data and insights to make informed decisions and improve business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, net revenue management, supply chain and digital/eCommerce, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Lead negotiations and manage contract renewals to secure profitable growth.
What makes you a good fit
- 5+ years of experience managing large, complex accounts at a national level within CPG industry, preferably Walmart.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Preferably in Business or Marketing.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
- Strength in analytics, ability to analyze complex data and make strategic business decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize time and focus on key and critical business activities.
- Strong communication skills, specifically in negotiation and presentations.
- Hands on knowledge of MS office, Nielsen Workstation and Retail Link.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced competitive environment.
