The West Hazleton, PA Henkel manufacturing facility is looking for top talent to lead our facility to Best in Class performance levels and culture. We have a clear three-to-five-year journey laid out to build capability and deliver results using the processes of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS). The Process Engineer will lead the equipment and process improvements needed to deliver results in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), quick changeovers, yield, safety, and quality. This position will report directly to the department Operations Manager, be a member of the department leadership team and work closely with area Operators and Mechanics.
YOUR ROLE
- Identify, analyze, prioritize and eliminate losses and inefficiencies.
- Optimize process efficiency, productivity, and yield through continuous improvement programs.
- Lead root cause analysis to resolve and eliminate specific chronic losses.
- Identify and lead small capital projects, working closely with Engineering Project Managers.
- Participate in New Product Development processes to evaluate concepts, designs, prototypes, and tests.
- Design and develop equipment improvements, including selection and coordination with suppliers.
YOUR SKILLS
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Engineering,
- 2-5 years of engineering experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) is preferred.
- Must have experience with Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Root-cause Analysis, SMED, and Lean Six Sigma (LSS).
- Must have strong leadership skills, with a special emphasis in coaching, decision making, organization, and reliability.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The yearly salary range for this role is $75,000 to $115,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
