Henkel Japan NextGen Leader Program is a fast-track development program that nurtures high potential global talents into future leaders who can excel in cross-functional and international settings.

During 6-year program, you’ll undergo a remarkable transformation with 3 rotations in Strategic Cross-BU/Function roles which across Sales related/ Marketing/Technology/Function. This exposure will provide you with a well-rounded skill set and prepare you for leadership role in the future.

What you will be working on?

  • Undergo the 6-year program with 3 development rotations to refine and expanse NextGen Leader Program talent’s professional skills, enhance multi-project & complexity management skills, and equip strategic leadership capabilities:
  • Rotation 1 begin with Sales/AE (Application Engineer) to cultivate first-hand market insight and build customer-centric thinking, and Rotation 2&3 work in various business functions across Marketing/Technology/AO/Function (e.g. Finance, HR, Purchasing) aiming to broaden expertise and foster holistic mindset at strategically level
  • Actively contribute to key strategic projects by closely working with experts across all functions, engaging in optimization initiatives, collaborating with the team to identify pain points, design tailored projects and ensuring projects success
  • Deliver high-quality tasks & projects on time and within scope, and demonstrate the ability to generate impactful results, ensuring alignment with organizational goal
  • Take ownership of your professional development by actively seeking feedback, setting career goals, and participating in continuous learning & project opportunities for equipping with leadership capabilities
  • Engage actively with internal and external stakeholders, expand your international professional skills and networking across different cultures

What are we looking for in our talents?

  • Bachelor degree or above, international background is a plus
  • 3-5 years overall working experience and proven track in dealing with challenging tasks or projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Aspiration to become a cross-functional leader with ambitious and leadership potential
  • Excellent learning ability, analytical skills, good at communication, negotiation and problem solving
  • Agility to work in a multi-national, cross-functional and diverse enterprise
