What you'll do

  • Contribute and ensure regional alignment with global trade team with global strategy in trade controls, customs management, HS classification and cross-border optimization including FTA savings.
  • Support any export control/ customs management related issues/ questions/ disputes raised by business/ operations/ authorities. Conduct Trade Health Checks on APAC entities for process improvement recommendation and savings opportunities identification.
  • Act as process owner for and drive trade compliance set-up in strategic projects including M&A/ divestment/ due diligence and integration exercises, with close cross-functional/ regional teams.
  • Support in maintenance and upgrades of SAP/ GTS.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate export processes.
  • Provide trainings with latest regulatory updates/ requirement to business for trade compliance awareness, as well as to GBS+ Manila Trade Team for technical expertise upskilling.
  • Monitor and align with GBS+ Manila Trade Team on resources planning and allocation for daily tasks and ad-hocs projects.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Supply Chain management, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience with Trade, Customs and Export Compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Supply Chain Operations Proactive and collaborative working style Good Data-Analytic skills
  • Knowledge of SAP GTS (Global Trade Service) will be an added advantage
