YOUR ROLE

  • Lead a team of experts in R&D process technology
  • Execute programs to accomplish the strategic Global Process R&D Innovation goals
  • Scale up newly developed formulations in Henkel pilot plants and transfer to production plants from the first production trial to launch
  • Implement standardized global processes for bulk production technologies, support transfer of know-how/technology to regions
  • Execute processing innovations and new technologies using information sources like patent/scientific literature, congresses, market info
  • Support executing patent strategy allowing freedom to operate, strong own IP and licensable patents
  • Maintain and enhance expertise, efficiency and motivation of the department
  • Implement training plans according to needs of department and co-workers   

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master´s degree or PhD in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in process development, engineering or production management in FMCG industry
  • Knowledge of scale-up requirements: pilot plant to full production process
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborational leadership mindset
  • Strong networking skills, willingness to perform and lead within a global matrix organization, intercultural skills
  • Fluent English & basic German language skills
